KTM rider Attilio Pignotti wrapped a highly successful season in the S2 class of Supermoto when he finished with a 4-2 in the final two races at Megara, Greece for overall GP second.

The result secured him second place in the S2 class world championship rankings for 2007.

The experienced Italian rider was on the podium 10 times in 16 individual races that made up the 2007 season and conceded the championship title to his arch rival Gerald Delepine of Belgium by just five points.

Both in training and on race day, riders had their time cut out handling dirt and mud on the circuit that resulted from the heavy rain on both Saturday and Saturday night, creaing conditions that demanded the utmost concentration on both the asphalt and the offroad sector of the course.
