After a long pause the national Championship of Supermoto is resumed.
The last round disputed on the ferrarese circuit of Pomposa had seen the leap of Fabio Balducci in head to the S1 Supermoto Italian championship.
Today, after approximately two months, also Davide Gozzini jumps in head to classifies of the S2 Championship. Davide has arrived on the Veneto circuit in second position to a single point of separation from the leader Pignotti knowing what he had to do and it was been done.
Davide and Fabio have been fast already from the time practices conquering respective fourth and fifth position on the start.
S1
In both race1 and2 Fabio succeeds to pass undamaged from the first corners and in the group of head. He wanted to attack but also paying attention not to fall in some traps thinking only to the national and to the great advantage that he has in classifies. A third and fifth final place is good and it concur to keep an advantage on his more directed pursuers Beltrami and Lazzarini. Good the race of Alex Serafini that finishes in… and in ..... position.
Balducci said: “….it’s a pity for race 2! If it had not been for the lapped riders I would be successful to be in front of Beltrami. However all gone well. I have run only thinking to the next title it and I will do the same also to the next race, that title I have already won with TM in 2005...”.
S2
David is successful to leave in both race 1 and 2 in third position behind the two foreign Delepine and Iddon (than they do not take points for the national champion title). David succeeds to resist to attack them and taking care to hold to the right distance the other Italian riders with “Attila” Pignotti very dangerous for the end of the classifies. Everything worked well and now Gozzini commands the classifies of championship with 7 points of separation on Pignotti.
Gozzini said: “... for a rider like me that think only to attack it is a little difficult to be an “accountant”! Here my main deal was to think to the national title, and therefore has been. I will think to the foreign riders when I will be on the World Championship races...”.
