Sylvain Barrier and Loris Baz both had a good race in Valencia. The first one was careful and finished 14th, while the second one scored a superb victory and made a name for himself in the racing world.
For his first Superstock 1000 season, Sylvain Barrier did not want to take too many chances in Spain and made sure he would finish in the top 15.
This 14th position in the Valencia race was part of the plan. A logical progress is expected in the Netherlands where Barrier is much more at ease. He finished 2nd last year of the Assen Superstock 600 race.
Sylvain Barrier: « I want to do better than in Valencia. I have less pressure, more experience. I did some testing in France that went fairly well. I like the Assen track better than Valencia.”
Martial Garcia (team-manager): “Sylvain Barrier will try his best to show us his progress. His mission is to reach the top 10.”
