After few days of relax, Hannspree Honda Althea riders are now ready for a new exciting challenge in Phillip Island circuit. Today the weather is windy with succession of sun and dark clouds.
Roberto Rolfo: Phillip Island is one of my favourite circuits. I like it because is fast with a nice mix of medium and high speed corners. In this circuit I have won 250 GP race in 2003 but I have also obtained good results in my past GP and Superbike races. The only problem could be the strong wind, that sometimes disturb me in the high speed curves like Siberia curve. After Qatar races I’m very motivated. I want to work hard with my team, starting from Friday morning, because we have to work well to get a good race set-up.
Gianluca Nannelli: I like this circuit also if in the past I have never obtained great results here in Australia. This year I have a very competitive bike and a strong team and so I’m really ready to do my best starting from tomorrow morning test. In Qatar we have been indeed unlucky but I've already put the race result from last weekend behind me.
Andrea Antonelli: Qatar race was my first competitive meeting since jumping up from Superstock to World Supersport, but my race has been really very short because I was forced off the track. Phillip Island is a new circuit for me and my first impression is that’s really enchanting. I’m happy to have the opportunity to race here.
