Tommy Hill was really unlucky during the Hannspree Honda Althea tests in Calafat.

He crashed after a few laps, probably because of the wind and the cold temperature and was immediately brought to Tarragona hospital to reduce the fracture of his right leg.

Anyway he has never demoralized and is now hard working to reduce his recovery as more as possible. To understand how much he’s determined you can read his following interview.

“I arrived at Calafat and there was a lot of wind. We tried to make a few laps just to set up the positions of the pegs and the levers. But everything went wrong. I crashed and as soon as I hit the ground I thought I had lost my leg. Now the situation is getting better and I’m nearly surprised to be able to move my leg as I always did before, also because I saw my x ray and lot of rods, bolts and plates….

I'm doing everything I can to speed up the recovery. The Team is now doing a good job and preparing my bikes for the next test which will probably be at the end of January. I just can’t wait to go back on track to make the test and to prepare myself to win races next year!”
