It’s no secret to anyone, the best pages of the history of motorcycle endurance were written in the 1970s. This was the glorious time of Dholdas, Kawa Godier-Genouds and other Yamaha Sonautos. The passion for this discipline and these machines from another time has never gone away, and every year thousands come rushing as soon as an event bringing together these venerable machines is organised.
To answer this need, the 3rd Spa 500km will be held on the new track at Spa-Francorchamps in 2007.
At the same time as this trial, the whole Bikers’ Cup team has decided to start up an event which is unique in Belgium, the Spa 4 Hours Classic.
The trial will see endurance-loving bikers crowding to Spa's legendary circuit for a trial which will be hotly contested.
A Le Mans start, climb the “Raidillon”, refuel, the two two-hour rounds will let you relive the great times of motorcycle endurance.
