American Suzuki continued amateur motocross program

American Suzuki has announced its continued support of several amateur motocross racers under the Rockstar Suzuki racing umbrella.

For 2009, the Rockstar Suzuki racing program supports 16 riders from across the United States: Returning to the program are past champions Ian Trettel, Nick Paluzzi and Austin Politelli. New to the Suzuki family are Jesse Masterpool, Gannon Audette, Jace Owen, Rookie White, Jeremy Martin and Tristan Miller.

Said Pat Alexander, Sports Promotions Manager for American Suzuki's motorcycle division: "American Suzuki's support of amateur motocross racing is a vital component of our overall racing activity and a special showcase of our RM product line-up. Suzuki builds highly-competitive motorcycles and ATVs and our support of racing shows enthusiasts just how competitive they can be on the racetrack with Suzuki products."

James Hanson, Rockstar Amateur Motocross Team Manager added: "I'm really excited for the upcoming year. Rockstar Suzuki has once again put together a very strong team and I look forward to continuing our championship-winning ways in 2009."

Suzuki has supported amateur motocross racers for more than 30 years, helping grow the careers of such stars as Travis Pastrana, Nico Izzi, Ryan Dungey and many others.
