Erzbergrodeo 2007: The 'Knighter' is coming!

Even though it will be a short visit, David Knight (UK) will be attending the Erzbergrodeo 2007!
The british KTM Factory Rider and reigning Enduro E3 World Champion is going to start in the Twin-Cylinder King's Class on Thursday, June 7th. Knight will be piloting a KTM 950 Super Enduro R, trying to defend his 2006 win in this prestigious race.
Right after the race David has to travel back to the UK to prepare for a national race event, before he's heading back to the USA and the AMA GNCC series.

KTM strengthens its twin-Cylinder team: Marc Coma (E) rides the Erzbergrodeo 2007!
Marc Coma - well known as one of the most capeable Rallye riders of the world - will be attending the Erzbergrodeo on board of another 950 Super Enduro R. Coma will race in the Twin-Cylinder King's Class together wit teammates Giovanni Sala (ITA) and David Knight (UK).

4-time Enduro World Champion Paul Edmondson (UK) takes a "Last-Minute ticket to Erzberg"
Instead of racing in the US, 4-times World Enduro Champion Paul Edmondson (UK) decided to change plans and enter the Erzbergrodeo 2007 in the very last minute! Paul will ride a Maximum Solutions Suzuki RM250 two-stroke in the Prologue and the Red Bull Hare Scramble, and we are truly happy to welcome another top-level rider at the "Iron Giant" in 2007.

BMW presents its Erzbergrodeo Speed Team!
Late but spectacular - BMW finally releases the definitive line-up of it's factory efforts at the Erzbergrodeo 2007. BMW Motorcycle Motorsports Director Berti Hauser really likes to build up tension!
Chris Pfeiffer (GER), Simo Kirssi (FIN), Micky Dymond (USA) and brothers Greg und Gary Trachy (USA) will be all racing the Twin-Cylinder King's Class as well as the Prologue on the HP2 big-bore bikes. The three Americans are looking forward to their first ever Erzbergrodeo and will arrive with a truck-load of useful experience at Erzberg - Dymond and the Trachy brothers finished 1-2-3 at the 2006 Pikes Peak race!

BMW attacks the Red Bull Hare Scramble with its 450er Sportenduro prototype!
After gathering important experiences in the German cross Country Series and Enduro World Championships lately, BMW brings the highly discussed, brand new 450ccm single cylinder offroad bike to the Erzbergrodeo. 4-times Hare Scramble winner Chris Pfeiffer (GER) and Andreas Lettenbichler (GER) will fight for the podium both in the Prologue and the Red Bull Hare Scramble.
"We have nothing to lose, but we can learn a lot..." describes BMW Motorcycle Motorsports Director Berti Hauser the challenge for BMW and the 450 Sport Enduro prototype which already displayed a lot of potential at selected races.

Record-high media attendance at the Erzbergrodeo 2007!
Journalists from 16 nations and 4 continents have registered for the Erzbergrodeo XIII - a new record even for the biggest Offroad motorcycle event of the world. More than 120 media people will be on site to experience the Mega-Event at the Styrian Erzberg.
The race promotors offer once again an extended package of special media services, including the  Journalist Trophy 2007 which offers the possibility to race the app. 18km long gravel-racetrack for all registered journalists. By support of the Austrian Telekom, the extended Erzbergrodeo press office also offers wireless internet access to journalists.
