A great victory by Aoyama in the most exciting race since the beginning of the Championship highlighted the day of Team Scot. Hiroshi deserved it - it is from day one that he is constantly in the front. Everybody in the team was happy - especially his team mates, who went under the podium to take part in the standing ovation that welcomed him on the rostrum.
Yuki Takahashi (MotoGP) - 12th: "I'm satisfied. I had a good feeling with the bike - the best since the beginning of the championship. I did a good start, and a fast first lap. I overtook Elias and found myself in a good position, but in the second half of the race I began to experience some problems with the tyres - first with the front one, then with the rear. Anyway, I'm really happy: my program is to learn race by race, at that is what I'm doing".
Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc) - 1st: "First of all, thanks to my team, sponsors and fans. For some reason, while we had a good practice, I did not find a good feeling with the bike on qualifying. Saturday night and Sunday morning we changed the set-up, and found a good one. I was fast in the flowing part of the circuit. What is great, with this bike, is the package. Even when the situation is difficult - in Qatar, for example - we are able to manage good races. I don't know if I can be a contender for the championship, but certainly I like next track, Le Mans. We will see".
Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) - 10th: "I had a problem: shifting from 5th to 6th gear, the bike often switched off. It took me some time to adapt. Add to it the fact that the conditions, in the afternoon were different from the morning, and that I was a little bit nervous. When I found a good rhythm I was able to put a few fast laps, and this says to me that my real position should be more in front".
