Taddy Blazusiak blasts away opposition at Rodeo-X Endurocross

17 gennaio 2008

Taddy Blazusiak, the Polish rider who came, saw and conquered the 2007 Erzberg Rodeo and won himself a KTM factory rider position for his efforts, snatched victory at the weekend at the Rodeo-X Endurocross event in Linz, Austria.

Taddy was in blistering form and out to fascinate and thrill a capacity crowd at this indoor event. Winning all three of the races, the Polish star who has made child's play of the transition from Trial to Enduro signalled he is the one to watch in the coming season.

Crowd Pleaser
Taddy delivered a thrilling display of riding skills to the sell-out crowd in the Linz Arena, indicating that an indoor event billed as Rodeo-X Endurocross meets Freestyle-MX can be just as attractive to the fans as the great outdoors.

Right from the drop of the first flag, Taddy left no one in doubt that he is an exceptional rider. He piloted his KTM machine with unbelievable lightness over granite blocks, piles of truck tyres, tree trunks and even tackled the wood pyramid with ease. The result was clear 3-0 for the KTM factory rider in a new competition format that seems set to become a favourite with the spectators.

"There is a grip on the right side of your handlebar and all you have to do is twist it open until you break.." was Taddy's cool reaction to the Linz event.

Fast Track Taddy
2007 was a hallmark year for the 24-year-old Pole who snatched victory at Erzberg on a borrowed machine and not only won the race but also secured his factory rider status with KTM. Since then he won the Endurocross in Las Vegas, the Last Man Standing in Bulcher, USA and was second and fifth respectively in the Indoor Enduro events in Munich and Barcelona.  He also has a busy program for 2008. In the first half of the year he will compete in the Tough One Enduro in the UK, the Indoor Enduro and the Hell's Gate Enduro in Italy before returning to tackle Austria's Iron Mountain at the Erzberg Rodeo in May 2008.
