KTM Extends US Off-Road Amateur Support Program

16 gennaio 2008

KTM North America, Inc. is excited to introduce the KTM Off-Road Amateur Support Program in conjunction with the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) for 2008.

The KTM Off-Road Amateur Support Program launched in 2005 at GNCC and some National Enduro events. The KTM Off-Road Amateur Support Program functions out of the same semi as the Red Bull KTM Factory Off-Road Racing Team. The program offers trackside assistance including parts and technical support.

Services include
Emergency Parts Service - The KTM Factory semi is stocked with OEM KTM and KTM Power Parts for current models (2007-2008) 50cc-530cc that can be purchased by customers at the event if they are in need of repair. Parts are intended for emergency repair and are reasonably priced as a courtesy to KTM "orange bleeders."

Technical Support
A KTM factory trained technician will attend each event to help customers with technical issues. The tech support area has a library of KTM service/repair manuals and other related technical information necessary to provide answers to customer's questions.

Hospitality
One third of the awning will be designated as "The Orange Zone" Hospitality Center. KTM welcomes all riders and guests to the hospitality area to relax and share racing stories.

The 2008 WORCS Schedule consists of 10 rounds. The first event is set to kick off January 18-20 in Phoenix, AZ where Red Bull KTM Off-Road Factory rider, Kurt Caselli, will return to defend his number one plate.
