10 gennaio 2008

KTM North America, Inc is proud to announce the addition of Dave Osterman to their management staff.

Dave Osterman will be managing the KTM Junior SX/MX Factory Team and Amateur Support Efforts for 2008. KTM has sponsored amateur riders in the past, but in 2006 developed the KTM Junior SX/MX Factory Program. Osterman is well-suited for the job as he has over 20 years experience in the motorcycle industry. With a history of working for many reputable companies: Factory Kawasaki, Factory Yamaha, Red Bull KTM, Pro Circuit, Yamaha of Troy and Buell, Osterman's industry knowledge and managerial skills ensure that he recognizes what it takes to get to the top. "I am eager to get back to the roots of motocross and help develop the youth of the sport. The KTM Junior Factory Team is a well-mannered group of fit and talented athletes. I am looking forward to helping them achieve the next step in their career," stated Osterman on his new position.

KTM North America's Director of Racing, Kurt Nicoll commented, "We are excited to add a manager of Dave's caliber to our team. His experience at the pro-level will help these young athletes succeed. I am confident he can strengthen the KTM Junior Factory Team and help each rider excel."

The 2008 KTM Junior SX/MX Factory Team consists of six riders: Max Anstie, Jason Anderson, Michael Hall, Derek Rogers, Aaron Siminoe and Tommy Weeck. Their first race in 2008 will be the Lake Whitney Spring Classic event March 11-16, 2008.
