First test day for Rolfo and Nannelli at Jerez
First test day for Hannspree Honda Althea Team in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Roberto Rolfo and Gianluca Nannelli made many laps of the track. Each rider had a full schedule of work to get through at these tests and were happy about the improvements of the bike set up. The team also made steps ahead with the tyres and the engine performance, going on with the work they started in Calafat at the beginning of December .

Gianluca Nannelli – Supersport : Today we worked hard on the suspensions and the engine. My best lap was 1.48.2, but I did not want to go further because it is now more important to work on the set up of the bike. We have done a great job on the suspensions and everything is going in the right direction. Tomorrow we will continue to test new solutions, for the engine as well.

Roberto Rolfo – Superbike : Unfortunately I’m not so well because last week I had health problems that have weakened me. I am happy with the work done today, even if I could go only 35 laps with a best time of 1.45.3. The work done on suspension gave good feedback especially in the fastest part of the track and that’s why I am very optimistic for the next days, hoping my physical condition will be better.

Salvatore Giorlandino : The first day of test here in Jerez went very well. The team is working very much and the feeling between mechanics and riders is always better. The tests that were made on the suspensions and the tyres satisfied our technicians. Roberto and Gianluca are very motivated and they’re both trying to improve constantly. We hope that the weather will be better tomorrow because today the tyres were struggling to reach the right temperature and tomorrow we have many other solutions to test.
