Erzberg Winner Tadeusz Blazusiak is KTM Factory Rider

KTM has engaged the 24-year old Tadeusz Blazusiak, effective immediately, as an additional official rider and the ideal strengthening of the company's Enduro Factory Team. The European Trial champion from 2004 will now be competing in the most extreme offroad races worldwide as well as in the increasingly popular Enduro indoor events. With his impressive performance at the Erzberg Rodeo 2007, Tadeusz "Taddy" Blazusiak won the legendary Red Bull Hare Scramble in great style on a Series KTM EXC 250 loaned to him by KTM. The Trial specialist from Poland thus established himself as one of the international Enduro elite. "Tady Blazusiak is already today a victory for KTM and we are especially pleased to announce his engagement," underlined KTM CEO Stefan Pierer after the official signing of the contract at the KTM factory in Mattighofen, Austria. "With his rich experience in Trial sport, in all types of offroad races and with his immense talent as a rider, he is an ideal addition for KTM. Our team is therefore being strengthened in its engagement in all of the most important and challenging offroad races outside of the Enduro world championship," Pierer continued. "He fits into KTM very well with his professional attitude and his refreshingly optimistic light heartedness," commented KTM Motorsport Director Winfried Kerschhaggl at the conclusion of the signing ceremony. During the rest of the 2007 season "Taddy" Blazusiak will contest as many different types of races as possible so that he can get to know all the facets of Enduro sports. A jointly planned program for 2008 will be put together at the end of the year. After the first joint tests at the end of August, Tadeusz Blazusiak will tackle his first races as official KTM factory rider on a 250 EXC at the German cross Country Championship. After that he will contest other Endurocross events in Las Vegas and Barcelona and a start in the Red Bull Last Man Standing in Texas is also planned. |
